TOILET HOLDING TANK
Here's a photo of the access panel to out toilet holding tank and the EnviroChem we use to break down waste and to keep
odours away. Very happy with the results.
WATER TANK VALVE
The tank in the Colemans come with a 1/2" threaded plug, which has to be unscrewed to drain the tank. It's a bit of a
reach to access the plug, and needes a wrench to get it started, and there is alwaws the posibility of loosing it.
I replaced the plug with a 1/2" nipple and a 1/2" PVC ball valve. Now when I am getting ready to leave the campground
I simply open the valve, and allow the water to drain away as I drive home. It's only clean water, so it not doing any harm.
It was still a bit or a reach to access the valve, so I added a 1/2" elbow and a 12 piece of PVC pipe, putting the valve just
at the edge of the trailer, and very easy to access. It's shown here slightly bent down, but it twists up very easily out
of the way.
TRUNK LOCK
The lock we had to put on our front storage trunk to keep our inquisitive kids from hiding in it.
CABINED DIVIDER & SHELF
The cabinet across from the sink in the Niagara has nothing to stop items stored in it interfering with the two drawers
on the left. So when you open the drawer, something always fell into the drawer space & you couldn't close the drawer.
I cut a piece of 3/8" plywood to size and also added a shelf to the cabinet.
Awning Bases
We have had problems with the guy ropes on our awning, either tripping on them, or not being able to drive a stake into
the ground.
The solution, flower pots, filled with concrete, and holes to insert some flowers.
They weigh 12.5 pounds each, and we have used them in some very windy conditions(30MPH winds) with no problem.
